Mission Statement

According to the three research areas established at the Center for Analytical Chemistry, Mycotoxin Analysis, Water Analysis and Biochemical Analysis, the aims and activities of the division are manifold. They range from the development and validation of modern analytical methods in environmental, food and feed analysis and the preparation and certification of reference materials to the coordination of ring trials and proficiency testing schemes for a great variety of analytes. The scientific mission of the department is completed through numerous partnerships in particular within EU-programmes (e.g. SM&T, Quality of Life, GROWTH, etc.) on one hand and a variety of national and international training courses and seminars on the other hand.

The sucessful research at the Center for Analytical Chemistry was appreciated with the granting of national and international awards.
